      HIRAN MINAR

Hiran Minar (Urdu: ہرن مینار or "The Deer Tower") is a mid sixteenth century Mughal time complex situated in Sheikhupura, near Lahore in the Pakistani territory of Punjab.

Hiran Minar (in a real sense, the "deer tower") is a hunting retreat worked by Emperor Jahangir toward the northwest of Lahore. It was built in memory of an eland named Mansraj that was adored by the sovereign. The dedication tower stands 30 meters high and is 10 meters wide at its base. Around the edge are 214 openings that are accepted to have been utilized as supports for the cut off heads of creature prizes taken by the ruler.

This structure and capacity is like a previous pinnacle or Tower , otherwise called Hiram Minar, worked at Fatepur Sikri. It likewise looks like the Nim Serai Minar at Malda, whose projections might have been utilized likewise to show the caught heads of neighborhood rebels.

Toward the east of the pinnacle is a gigantic rectangular tank with an octagonal baradari at its middle. The baradari was utilized as a regal retreat by the ruler and is open by means of a scaffold expanding west toward the pinnacle. Little structures mark the edges of the tanks and component pyramidal rooftops with doors on four sides.

On each side of the tank are shallow slopes that permitted natural life in the hunting park simple admittance to the water. The water level was kept up with utilizing a progression of channels and catchement bowls prompting the site.
Not at all like close by Lahore, the encompassing field is meagerly populated and remains generally country. A belt of woodland encompasses the site, further protecting it from the cutting edge climate, permitting the guest to encounter the Mughal garden in a scene that has changed generally little since its commencement.
